On March 3, 2016 Senator Ted Cruz told the FOX News debate audience he would support Donald Trump if he was the Republican nominee.
Bret Baier: Senator Cruz will you support Donald Trump if he is the nominee?
Senator Ted Cruz: Yes, because I gave my word I would. And what I have endeavored to do every day in the senate is do what I said I would do.

He is an opportunist who has some type of personality disorder.
For what it’s worth department:
Cruz told Trump in a phone conversation two days ago that he would not endorse
him during his speech, according to Cruz aide Jason Johnson.
Still, Trump’s campaign invited Cruz to speak in a headliner role, no less.
That decision was sure to spark a new round of second guessing about the campaign’s
management of the convention and preparedness for a bruising general election against
Democrat Hillary Clinton.
In a late night tweet, Trump said he had seen Cruz’s speech two hours before he
took the stage but let him speak anyway. “No big deal!” Trump wrote

I want to congratulate Donald Trump on winning the nomination last night,
Cruz told cheering delegates Wednesday night at the Republican National Convention.
And like each of you I want to see the principles that our party believes prevail in November.
And then he never said Trump again. No mention, no kind words, no endorsement.
i guess Ted Cruz is a mookabooking Liar.
I believe Ted is a robot.
His career as a national politician is over.
Pro Trump folks said Rafael Cruz was the unidentified man in a picture in the Warren Commission Report. A girlfriend at the time confirmed that Curz and Oswald knew each other. Some of us speculated that the reason Cruz went to Canada was to avoid Jim Garrison’s investigation of Clay Shaw’s CIA operation in New Orleans.
No one in the Cruz camp denied the facts. They just complained the it wasn’t nice to say them out loud.
I think he will take the place of the kook fringe politician - he has taken the torch from Ron Paul.
Thank you for the link. I posted it in every appropriate post on both of Cruz’s FB pages.
I'm sure you'll make a lot of money.
Your eloquence still doesn't do justice to Sen. Cruz's perfidy and dishonorable performance. A principled man would have politely declined the opportunity to address the convention if he'd decided on conscience to break an unsacred pledge.
But to capitalize on the opportunity to do great harm to the party's candidate and the only person capable of saving the country from Hlllary? Words fail me. I think a new term will have to be coined to describe this unprincipled act of Obama-esque villainy.
It’s not worth it to waste anymore bandwidth on Ted. He’s over, finished, kaput, completely irrelevant. Time to move on.
Who is Ted Cruz?
I must have posted that link on Cruz’s postings a dozen times and it keeps getting deleted. Don’t know if it’s a page handler doing it or some setting that automatically deletes linked comments. :-(
You might try just posting the brief transcript without the link.
Will do, Maggie. :-)
Did Cruz say he would endorse Trump at the RNC? If not, there is still time for him to keep his pledge.
What’s that you say? I’m grasping at straws?
I’m an American - I always look at the bright side.
Support <> endorse.
Cruz rescinded his before Trump did.

that’s not true...trump was the first one to renege on the pledge
