I’m in my late 60s now. But when I was young ... in my teens, my gay brother was a staunch Conservative. As a teen,he instilled in me the benefits of conservatism.
He, my brother, was my hero ... he was a graduate of Oxford, England. He instilled in me, the love of reading. I read voraciously today.
Long story short,I got a call at my job .... my brother had died of a fatal heart attack at the age of 32.
Don’t ever doubt that agay person can be a Conservative and can pas it onto their sister ... who then can pass it on.

Yep - I have some gay friends that run the spectrum from Lib to Conservative and I agree. I don’t agree with their life choices but it is what it is. I don’t pretend to understand it, but many keep that part of their life to themselves and it’s not all of them that are up in your face about it.
Sorry for your loss even though it has been years I know it still hurts, and thanks for sharing your story.
Lovely story. I am so sorry your brother passed so young. I too know gay conservatives. Even some who do NOT like the gay agenda (though they actually do like gay marriage, just not the in your face on tv and in media pandering, and certainly not sexualing children’s education.
