The entire protest at the convention fizzled like a damp firecracker. From what I could see on TV is that the demonstrators were almost all white, and just weird. I didn’t see any of the expected Black Lies Matter crowd. Naturally, Code Pink put in a rather minimal appearance.
Someone said that the demonstrators themselves attributed the low turnout to the cop killings over the last few weeks, and that Black Lies Matter has pretty much gone into hiding.
That probably does have something to do with it, but perhaps another contributing factor is that there really isn’t much enthusiasm to go out and try to get Clinton elected. According to the document that was released by a hacker, the DNC was spending close to $1 MILLION on their operation in Cleveland, and I did see a video which showed Debbie Wasserman Schultz there with some others.
Another factor is probably the fact that the Cleveland police, backed up by cops from around the country, did an excellent job, unlike the cops in San Jose, Chicago, Albuquerque and other places who had just allowed rioters to run wild.
Not sure if you are aware of the Redeye Radio show at nite with Eric and Gary. I’ve been listening to them for years, and they are generally on target about economic things, but they have been on an anti-Trump roll for a year now and have jumped the shark in my opinion. Tonight I flipped over to c2c with George Noory and was pleasantly surprised that they were discussing Trump like adults, not political jihadists, which Eric and Gary have become.
Jesus, the CHRIST, was NOT into politics; though HE did say that we had to pay taxes!
We live in a secular society; always have done. America has gone through VERY religious periods and and very NOT religious ones, from our very beginnings and varying from state to state. It's appalling that so few people don't know this nation's history! :-(

International media has got its talking points! Just listening to Swedish Radio news. The first line about Trump’s speech: This was a very DARK speech.....

I just finished listening to the speech and had all the cable news channels DVRed to listen to the commentary.
In just 10 minutes I have heard the word “DARK” from 4-5 sources so far, including a quote from George HW Bush.
If Rush is on the ball, he will have a clip of every time that word is used.
It is the pre-arranged talking-point word to use for all Dem, socialists, and globalists in reference to Trump’s speech.
