True. We can’t expect our politicians to replace the church and the Bible.
Unfortunately, churches now are so focused on being “hip” they have utterly failed us and our nation and our society. Most church services don’t even mention the Bible in their services.
Indeed. I’ve known quite a few gays that are businesspeople and vote conservative because their policies affect their lives more than social policy.

Right now we have bigger problems than the sexual orientation issue...Sorry, the whole country is at stake with the economy, terrorism, police attacks, immigration, supreme court, etc...
We have an election to win...I don’t care if Theil is a Martian, if he supports Trump and can change some minds on the West Coast, it is OK by me. I agreed with much of what he said about the country and I welcome his help.
Trump has made it clear he is opposed to homo marriage and abortion, wants freedom of religious expression, and local control of schools. He is opposed to life long welfare and thug lifestyle, he wants law and order.
In order to attain these, the government commiepukedom, corruption and tyranny needs to be eradicated. No society can remain civil and moral with lawlessness and corruption at the very top and indeed, mandated on everyone.

I’m a born-again Christian who actually lived as a lesbian. When I was just a preschooler, I told my mother when I got married someday, I’d marry a woman. She was taken aback and told me I couldn’t do that, which I accepted.
But now “gay marriage” is a real tragedy to me, having actually seen much of that life from the inside, knowing both many women and men engaging in it, and it is a tragedy along with all of the many ways in which this age is rejecting the counsel of God.

Yep - I have some gay friends that run the spectrum from Lib to Conservative and I agree. I don’t agree with their life choices but it is what it is. I don’t pretend to understand it, but many keep that part of their life to themselves and it’s not all of them that are up in your face about it.
And it takes away another avenue of dem attack.
