Where are all the loud and proud Cruz supporters that were on here? There are some very familiar names I’m not seeing anymore.
No matter which way it goes in November, or in 2020 or there after, he’s done, no doubt about it. People HATE sore losers.
He made a complete fool of himself and his personality won’t allow him to repair it, he’ll continue on his same self righteous path and continue to turn people off.
Rush was fair during the primaries. Beck and Levin blew it. Hannity came out on top ratings wise. He should be fun to listen to today

Trump just eliminated a guy that would be a thorn in his side for the next four years. Who needs this ass closing down government every time ‘he’ thinks ‘his’ ideas are more brilliant?

I was an early Cruz supporter and thought Trump was Perot 2.0 but Ted lost me after Super Tuesday in his speech that night. I felt the same way as you decribe him. I’ll add a used car salesman or a 2-bit preacher in a cheap suit.
It was a Swan Song, not an attack. Cruz is a bright guy. He knows he is finished. He was just doing what so many of his acoltyes did here earlier this year: say goodbye in an awkward bitter Swan Song.
For my part, I am shocked only by the fact that there are still so many self admitted “Cruz till the end” folks still on FR. He was a turd at every moment during this entire process and those of you who could not see that need help.

Exactly—Cruz is clearly exposed as the Bush family property, at least for now, that he once was in the past. There’s not a chance that they will support Cruz again in 2020 or 2024, however.

This guy is like a date gone badly I once remember, and the calls and the drama after trying to reel me back in, and me finally having to say, ‘please don’t call me anymore.’
I never liked Cruz, but I didn’t have strong feelings against him either. Just didn’t see him as being all that like some did. Found him whiny and not a good messenger.
By the time the primaries were over, I freaking HATED the guy, and always will.
The stupidity is one thing. The other thing is I can’t stand to listen to Cruz anymore. It’s painful to hear his preachy delivery style.
