I totally agree. We had all of those problems in Iraq and in Afghanistan. I watched a man drop a weapon before capture by the Marines and swear to Allah that he had never seen that weapon before.
Raised from a child to lie first, then think if he wanted to tell the truth.

Sadly, today we can’t fire on the guy even if he was seen shooting at us and slung the weapon over his shoulder and walked away.
