“I don’t get it; if Cruz was not there to endorse Trump, then why was he there? It is not about Cruz. Does he not get that? The country is at stake”

Cruz’s actions tonight only re-enforces his love of self over love of country.

People will quit naming their kids Theodore for the next 8 yesrs.

Toy makers will ban the name and call stuffed animals Donny Bears.

“Comments from Levin yet?”

We’ll get 3 hours of it tomorrow night. I was a big fan of Mark’s. He’s brilliant and I agree with him 99 percent of the time. He is too much to take lately.

We get it Mark. We know why you supported/opposed the people you liked/disliked during the primary.

There are now only 2 candidates. Really, there is no choice but to vote for Trump. Move on Mark.

He was there to cut his 2020 campaign ad.

Now this is a great take.

I can't tell you just how angry I am at Cruz, he's such a total jerk.

Newt had time to work that out. Poor Eric Trump had to follow Weasel Cruz. Eric was pissed at the beginning. More evidence Cruz went off script.

“Newt took care of Cruz in short order.”

Newt was brilliant.

Cruz has been called the most hated man in the Senate. Truth in labeling, for sure.

I wasn’t for Trump at the beginning, but when Walker dropped out, I went to Trump. My original liking of Walker was vindicated tonight. In the end, he did the right thing, as did Rubio... Sort of.

In the beginning, I felt there were three that were odd. Kasich, Jebby, and Cruz.

how can one be a “principled conservative” and run for an office for which they know they are not eligible?

He “could have been a contender,” but he blew it.

That is no different than Kasick.....I read today that Trump was going to offer him the VP slot, but Kasick’s big ego got in the way....I doubt whether, (the son of a mailman) will ever get elected again to anything in view of the childish way he has acted with the Republican Convention being held in his state. Kasick needs to collect his toys and go away and then he can sulk to his hearts content like the child he is.

More like Trump gave Cruz a lot of rope, Cruz crafted a perfect noose, and committed political suicide on stage. Perhaps Trump planned it that way to permanently deflate any future Presidential aspirations for Cruz. Stupid versus brilliant....the art of the deal to let your opponent self destruct.

I can’t imagine he’ll get any RNC support for any of his future political ambitions. I suspect his political career effectively ended tonight.

Quote:

“I guarantee Levin will back Cruz and his speech 100%.”

If he does he is finished. Same goes for Limbaugh. Then Laura Ingraham can rightfully assume the #1 position as the radio voice of conservatism.
