Trump is the guy; the primary is over no reason to not support him now.
Cruz was given a speaking slot tonight and he should not have been allowed to speak unless he endorsed.
He had me until the last two minutes, when he refused to endorse Trump. As a hardcore Cruzer through the primaries, I am no longer. P.S. Gingrich just stabbed Cruz in the back, and he deserved it.

Ted, all you had to say is that if the choice is Hillary or Trump, there is no choice at all, you must vote Trump. Donald was in the house, it would have been an electrifying moment if the two of you had shook hands on the stage. I am very disappointed and I think less of you for it.

Not what I would do but.........I guess his calculation was different, or maybe he has issues that he could get past. I'm not a Trump fan, but I would do anything I can do to stop the Clintons and Democrat party from doing any more damage than they have already done.
I guess he couldn't get past Trump personally accusing his father assassinating JFK, or him being a whore master or his wife of being responsible GS malfeasance. Dang why don't he write?

Cruz’s stubborn pride just sank any future he may have contemplated. He could have come off as a statesman, but he chose instead to be a bitter and small man.

Was a early and strong supporter of Ted Cruz but always had concerns that he was driven by burning ambition rather than his professed strong principals.
The stress of the Primary season has proven he is simply an arrogant, unprincipled and supremely ambitious political poseur.
There is a saying , “The Lord, he uses the good ones and the bad ones use the Lord”
I wondered which side Ted Cruz came down on and he just showed us that he falls into the second category.
The good news is that Cruz's ill advised over reach just destroyed the #NeverTrump movement just like Dallas gutted #BlackLIvesMatter as a political movement.
The Establishment Cruz soulmates like Bush , Kaisch, McCain, Graham who stayed home have to be feeling very depressed because the hand writing is on the wall that they have been measured and found wanting. They are looking very small and will be consigned to the dust bin of history.
These are losers have placed selfish ambition and personal pride above the good of the country. They fought a scorched earth rear guard action and salted the earth and poisoned all wells behind them so they deserve to be scorned, marginalized and driven out of the party
