Hopefully someone will post a link to Cruz’s speech as I have to see how bad it was. From what I have heard, his speech was GOOD. It wasn't what he said, it was what he didn't say (during the last two minutes). It was that he didn't 'endorse' Trump officially.
I don't know if he said why or not, so surely somewhere there is a link to the speech. Matter of fact, I saw a link earlier in the thread, you might look there.

Wow this really was a nauseating rambling display. There was no meat to this talk which lurched from a fallen policeman to constraining Gov't and an Obama attack. Just hung together emotionally laden themes.

It was a good speech until the end. He didn’t mention Trump just said to vote conscience. He knew everyone was waiting the word. He failed.
