I used to live in that area. It is very rural.
Going from Ohio to Michigan might mean crossing the street.

Metamora is really close to the Michigan line.
She could be a few miles from home, or on the U.P.
True. I don’t live far from there. Was hoping to get this out to Michigan people. Toledo is close, too.
Several years back, here in Illinois, a local “psychic” said that a local missing woman could be found, “where a 4 wheeler could go”.
She was spot on. The woman turned up in Texas, where she went on her own free will.
It is well known that a 4 wheeler is capable of going from Illinois to Texas.
No problem. I would just like to know if a story is from 3,000 miles away or not.

We know, after all, that if you can leave Ohio and come to Michigan it is always better. :-)
That is the area that was fought over in the Michigan/Ohio war. As someone said, she could have crossed the road and been in Michigan.

Authorities waiting for confirmation that remains found are a missing Ohio woman

WAUSEON, Ohio A University of Toledo student who went missing this week may have been found dead, according to announcements made at a press conference in that area today.
In the meantime, the Associated Press reports a man has been arrested on an abduction charge in this case. Fulton County Sheriff Roy Miller says the arrest Friday of 57-year-old James Worley, of Delta, is related to the disappearance of the young woman...
