If Trump wins, a coup isn't impossible here in the U.S.
LA Times ^ | July 19, 2016 | James Kirchick

Americans viewing the recent failed coup attempt in Turkey as some exotic foreign news story -- the latest, violent yet hardly unusual political development to occur in a region constantly beset by turmoil -- should pause to consider that the prospect of similar instability would not be unfathomable in this country if Donald Trump were to win the presidency.

I'm betting,on election day,the military goes in for Trump at 85%.

And also that the foreign deployed troops' votes will arrive too late to be counted.

James Kirchick is at Bill Kristols’s site!

So Kristol and his thugs are the ones dog whistling for a coup if Trump becomes president?

Makes you wonder what a bunch of ne’er do wells and thugs think they would do with their likely stolen pistols & other stuff against people who are ex-military like me and equipped with equipment such as an FNH SCAR in .308 with a 4-16X 800m BDC scope.

They would be watched from a great distance, and have no idea what they are facing.

IMPEACHMENT has been sorely needed with BARAK HUSSEIN
OBAMA, but just a pleasant pipe dream. In reality, NOT
SO EASY. (As we saw with “Blowjob Bill Clinton” back in
the last century. You know, now our current candidate for
FLOTUS? That one.)

It is treason to advocate the overthrow of the government.

The left considers it treason when WE advocate to RESTORE the government to its intended functions.

Why doesn't this surprise me?

If nothing else, Trump's nomination has finally gotten a lot of neoconservatives to drop the "conservative" charade and show their true left-internationalist colors for all to see.

Trump is probably the most liberal “Republican” nominee ever. You would expect the liberals to be very happy with him. He has backed down on several key issues in the past year. I’m just thinking “anyone but Hillary”.

“Also, while the two recent BLM-inspired shooters had military backgrounds and were evidently adept gunmen, the overwhelming majority of black and chicano gangbangers only know the “spray and pray” style of shooting, which is basically worthless in confrontations with military, police, or civilians who know how to actually shoot.”

This is exactly my point, if these thugs start trying a coup, they would not last long against vets with military training. If they want to burn up their neighborhoods, let them. That backfired big time in the DC riots after MLK was killed. The burned out buildings became a daily reminder of how stupid the burning was.

Trump has his flaws, but he has been the light flipped on in the kitchen that has sent the cockroaches scurrying in all directions.

“This article is a flat out dog whistle call for the assassination of Trump. Beyond despicable.”

Like, when Beck did the same thing. The SS should pay Kristol and this lackey of his a visit.

“If ever a coup were possible in America, it’d have been in the last 8 years, not the next”

I disagree. If a coup were to occur it would be from leftist elements of the military against constitutionalist leadership.

That it did not occur in these past 8 years is a testimony to the seriousness our military takes its rightful role.

Today we have the basic leftist military leadership in place that is defective and militarily ineffective in their areas. I doubt they could muster the support inside the military to execute a coup. But I don’t doubt that they think about it in their sociopathic leftist minds.

To a leftist, power is used to subjugate. Using us military power against traditional constutional institutions is the ultimate dream of these freaks. They are making progress towards that goal. They need to be driven from the ranks before they make any more progress.
