For those who don’t facebook, he’s getting roasted, 99.9% of the comments are hugely negative and most of them refer to his “pledge” to support the nominee, the fact that he’s the host state and it’s unseemly, and it’s obvious he’s not a man of his word. Lots of “i used to like you” and “I voted for you but no more”.
Nor a man of the people. Totally self-serving. That’s the problem with most of these pols...it’s all about them and not about the people.
