I’m enjoying hearing from people other than politicians.
That was classic Scott Walker, textbook perfect example of political speech. A solid guy with a bright future, whatever it turns out to be.

The call-and-response thing is standard convention fare.It’s better when it’s more spontaneous, e.g. “lock her up”.

Remember William Frawley's character in "Miracle on 34th Street" standing off to the back and giving the judge signals? Maybe Ted needs a Charlie Halloran to give him the Trump-endorsing nod.
