This reminds me of when I was in high school, I spoke to a teacher about a fellow student who had for a long time had made rude remarks towards me; basically he would lay verbal stink bombs at my feet and at my expense. I can remember this teacher using the term “small” to describe this other student and his attitude and behaviour.
Very much in a nutshell, does the term “small” effectively characterize Matthews and his attitude and his remarks such as these.

Frankly, correct, the emotions of connctions don’t really matter. Facts are facts. I never like the usage of emotional impact testimony in trials,which really has no bearing on what actually happened in such and such crime.
But never count on Dems not capitalizing on emotional pleas from victims for themselves.
