Gov. John Kasich has been notably absent from the main events at the Republican National Convention being held in his home state of Ohio this week, and on Tuesday he took a thinly-veiled swipe at the presumptive nominee.
Kasich seemed to offer a rebuttal of Donald Trump's campaign, rejecting what he called a "stew" of nationalism, isolationism, and anti-trade sentiments.
"What does that stew look like? What does that mean for the world? What does it mean for stability, for peace, for relationships? I'm very concerned about it," the Ohio governor said during an address for the International Republican Institute.
The remarks at the event came only a day after the Trump campaign lashed out at Kasich for his refusal to play a big role in the convention in his backyard.

Kasick is having a private gathering for his supporters outside the Rock Hall. Just a few blocks away, between the Rock Hall and where the convention is, police are working to keep opposing protest groups separated in Public Square.
I personally don't care for Kasick, but this is beyond the pale. To create a third potential flashpoint is beyond comprehension.
Guess he just doesn’t want to be a part of the future.

I, for one, am thankful the nation will not be subjected to KASICH’S mailman father story.
He’s the typical spineless Republican who has allowed Democrats to get to this point of destroying our country. Hr wants to throw out those nasty terms because we want illegal immigration to not be rewarded and being honest about Islamic terrorists out to kill us. He needs to go.

He sure was and he left Congress right after him. Lots of suspicion that he was in the dirty parties with Condit. He waited a few years and then re-entered politics after nothing really came out about him.
Kasick could cause serious trouble for Trump if he decides to run 3rd party. I can see him siphoning off enough votes to cost Trump the state of Ohio and that would be a disaster.
Kaysuck can suck it. Sooner he is destroyed and out of politics, the better for us all.
I’m really, REALLY tired of these sniping sore LOSERS, and the Never Trump Delegates and their stunts at the convention last night.
Man up, and put your friggin’ COUNTRY FIRST! This behavior shows me that it’s NOT about America, it’s all about YOU.
