I totally agree. It DOES matter. It makes Trump look like a fool to have his wife parrot the words of someone else. I hope Trump will deal harshly with the person responsible.
I like Trump, but some of his fans have an almost ‘Royalist’ attitude about him. They don’t think you should ever question any of his decisions or actions. Perhaps they even consider him infallible. I’ve always said, no man on this earth is above review, reproach and qualification.
In the heat of the election season, I usually chose not to argue with any ‘Royalist’. If they are not ready to consider my point of view, so be it. The world will keep on turning. Plus, I don’t want to say something mean or nasty in responding to them, that I would regret later. I’m not here to make enemies at all.
Trump would not copy anything Michelle Obama does. She usually just spouts leftist clichés.
Many parents tell their children to work hard and be honest. That is not unique in any way.
Partisanship is sickening. We need to stand for truth. I don’t stand with FReepers who act like libs and love their guy right or wrong. Sorry. This fits the legal and common sense parameters for plagiarism and the speech is from a former nominee spouse. Indefensible, yet the rah rah people ignore truth and swarm like flies to defend wrong doing.
THE TRUMPS ARE INNOCENT here. I feel so bad for Melania. She seems shy and private. I feel bad for Trump, who is so proud of his wife. And now she is made a laughing stock.
He needs to admit it was plagiarism and fire the guy responsible. Trump cannot be a liar. He owes us honesty.
