I don’t think Trump had that much problem with the state conventions or he wouldn’t have would up with over 1500 committed delegates. Are you concerned?

But this feeding of a non-story is something that our side is doing.
The left successfully managed to pretty much avoid discussing Benghazi, the security lapses of the private server, and the Clinton Foundation corruption.
Our side is allowing itself to be consumed by the most minor of plagiarism cases. That’s falling into a trap.
It’s a matter of discipline and self-control, and turning back to the real controversies that actually matter.
Stop talking about this until the media gives it its due importance - which is not much.
There are over a dozen threads on this on the News/Activism page. That needs to change.

Melania Trump’s speech apparently plagiarizes a couple of sentences of a speech - the crime of the century!
Now, if what Melania Trump and/or her speechwriter did is so bad, what about what Hillary Clinton has done?!

Bingo. The intent here was two-fold:
- Make Millena’s speech seem fake/shallow
- Keep the content of the other excellent speeches out of the news
We are in a political war - Trump versus Clinton/Obama/the media/Cruz.
Just a Democrat distraction! Let’s compare who going the keep their promise “Your word is your bond” Really Obamas! your word is your bond! How many times have a lied and screwed the USA!
Until we see a pattern, it’s just sloppy. And it happens all the time. The worst part is getting mired down in the news cycle.
The campaign needs to have better quality control so this doesn’t happen.
To quote Donald Rumsfeld, “there are knowns and there are unknowns, and there are unknowns we don’t know about” (paraphrased), this incident regarding Melania’s speech may in some ways be dismissed as inconsequential so far as the big picture is concerned, but the “unknowns that we don’t know about” are who, and how many of the subversive Cruzlims have infiltrated the Trump organization specifically and/or the Republican Party in general.
Those vile scumbags have only one purpose, which is to sabotage by any way possible, the Trump-Pence campaign. They believe that if they can somehow tilt the election in Hillary Rotten Criminal’s favor, that their boy Saint Teddy can come riding to the rescue 4 years later, just like Ronald Reagan rescued America from the 4 abysmal years of Jimmy Carter in 1980.
Hiliarly is NOT Carter (FAR worse), this is NOT 1980, and Ted Cruz is sure as Hell NOT Ronald Reagan. Never was, and never will be.
Trump and Manafort need to get to the bottom of this pronto because if such subversives will tamper with and insert plagiarizing material into Melania’s speech, what’s next?

The important thing that was in Melania’s speech was the love, the pride, the devotion of being a woman, of being a Mother, of being a wife, and most of all, being an American!!!

Why were these folks Silent when the board of review at Boston University concluded that Michael King a/k/a “Martin Luther” plagiarized huge portions of his doctoral dissertation. In the normal case he would have been stripped of his “degree” but much like Hillery, he was given “special “ treatment above the rules that apply to others and they simply added their written findings to his academic file. Nobody cares about that!!

IMO the rickroll is the big “tell” that this speech was tampered with on purpose to take away from the other speeches last night. Whoever did this got a little too cute.

Just back from lunch at a diner. Tables on both sides of ours were discussing Millena’s speech.
This took the wind out of Trump’s sails. The other, devastating, speeches are getting zero airtime.
No I didnt, its similar I give it that..word is my bond..I have heard that a thousand times from candidates throughout the years..they always say that..and Michelle Obama wrote her speech LOL of course she didnt, someone wrote it for her, just like someone wrote Melania’s speech and down the line that’s why speech writers make so much money
What concerns me is how the story got to the MSM so quickly.
That is what makes me think that it may have been a set up.
I doubt anyone even listened to Michelle Obama’s speeches. I don't know who wrote them but they were usually terrible. But the media had the information very soon after Melania's speech. Far too soon for them to have figured it out for themselves. It was like they were ready to run with it.
The media ignored the speech itself. The speech was very good. I was impressed. I would like to see it again.
I don’t know why the informant for this article wasn’t named. But note that in the Fits article, he goes from “director of a pro-Trump organization” in South Carolina to “aide”. The person that best fits this description is Jeff Taillon, who was Political Director at Donald J. Trump for President, Inc, acc. to LinkedIn, and later was hired by the Trump campaign, acc. to Breitbart. Can’t see why he wouldn’t want his name mentioned.
