I’m not watching it. Just knowing it happened is enough for me. We are not going to infuse our western humanitarian values into these nations just because it would be convenient for our safety.
We must guard against their jihads over here, neutralize in all ways needed. However, we should not fool ourselves that they will hold the same value over human life and personal dignity as we say we do. If the Kurds and certain rebel Syrians can destroy or disable ISIS, I say do it. I understand, it’s going to be like watching sausage being made; a gruesome process that produces a very satisfying result.
Too late. We are surrounded. It's just a matter of time.
