I wonder if anyone has checked speeches by prior First Ladies to see if/how Michelle (DH calls her “Beowulf”) repeated a few words of their speeches. It would be interesting.

Me, too. Recall the late ‘50s, maybe early ‘60s, the woman from Michigan shouting their vote. She screamed, “MISH-ER-GAN!” We kids got the biggest kick out of that; never forgot it.
RNC Conventions and election nights were the only times we could stay up past bedtime.
I started the threads I think last November, but it wasn’t until Onyx and others told me to start posting them on Breaking News did the following start. Then I got into them, you know, giving the little map of the town, usually some tiny unknown place. I added some trivia.
By the 1st of the year, I had my act together. If you search trumprallytoday, you’ll go back to the 1st of the year and see them. I’m sure we’re way past the 100,000 posted replies by now.
It’s been fun, because as you may recall, there was a huge fight going on between the Cruzers and the Trumpers. Got real heated. There werer some who liked both, in fact many of us liked Cruz at first.
It was comforting to have an outlet for us to watch the rallies privately. Now it’s getting to wear you go into Trump withdrawal syndrome if we don’t have a live thread to watch.
The hats and outfits were always so much fun.
Still a bit of remnants left but nothing like it once was!

I agree on all comments. Flynn was boring and actually got on my nerves. Sorry but true. He's not a good speaker or one that can say his true heart. Not sure why he was given a spot other than a man in uniform.
I personally would have given the spot to Oliver North! A much better speaker, patriot and speaking from the heart about love of country and the men and women who have served.

Don't know and don't know. He is going to discuss it in the 11 o'clock hour. It's just the fact that the government removed a new network.
