Tiny, tiny group of crybabies throwing tantrums, Colorado delegation of idiots "walking out", etc., but the article is actually a pretty good look at what went on, who the leaders were (Senator Mike Lee, dipshit Coloradan Kendal Unruh, et. al.), and how they were totally crushed once again in their attempts to disrupt the convention.

[BTW, I live in Colorado, so I feel perfectly free to criticize those bunch of fools at the convention.]

The Colorado delegates should have their credentials yanked and not be allowed back in.

Dana White should go after the business practises of Mormons, if they have been ripping him off.

” the rebellion was about “incentivizing states to close their primaries.” Such a move could make it more difficult for candidates like Trump who do not have a long conservative pedigree from relying on moderates and independents to boost their GOP primary campaigns.”

Leave the rules alone. It’s that LONG CONSERVATIVE “PEDIGREE” that’s the problem. The “so-called conservatives” appear to me to be the problem in the GOP today. They seem to think that they should get 100% of what they want, or they take their marbles and go home. I’ll bet you Kendal Unruh got notes home to her parents when she was a child saying:”does not work well with others!”

It seems to me that this bodes well for Trump. It was only hours ago that I was reading about the impending chaos over this rules thing. Then ... nothing! It seems Trump is in control! ... not to be underestimated ... let’s hope.

Mike Lee really destroyed any chance he had to join his brother on Donald Trump’s Supreme Court list.

Colorado walked out? BFD - the delegates were handed to Cruz on a silver platter anyway. There was no primary there...

Send them out to “mingle” with the BLM thugs.

Within 5 minutes, they will be pounding the locked doors,
screaming to be let back in.

I have long advocated for closing all Republican primaries.

I am convinced that open primaries gave us John McCain in 2008.

Mormon’s have changed their method. They just cheat in business and politics with lawyers.

On 9/11 1857 they performed a terrorist attack that killed 120 men women and children who were passing through Utah on their migration to California.

The Mountain Meadows Massacre of 1857 seems to have been mostly lost to history. We must remember how these people deal with situations. They are ruthless. Don’t turn your back.

Nooooo. Taxpayers are paying for those primary elections to be run which do nothing but benefit the two parties. If they want a primary, fine. But let anyone who wants to vote in them do so.

The parties can always pay for a convention or caucus ON THEIR DIME if they don’t like that arrangement.

Why should all states have exactly the same rules? Let each state have its own uniquely weird rules.

It might be a mess. But look at the history of central planning. In 2013 the RNC Central Commiturn Politiburo adapted the anti-RonPaul rules to create what happened in 2015-16. They intended it to benefit the likes of jebbie. But all their central planning backfired.

So why should we now double down on central planning?

But look at the history of central planning.

Basic rule of Cybernetics:

The controlling system must be at least as complex as the system being controlled

Hence the demise of communism...socialism and the GOPe.

Adam Smith's invisible hand rules.

Closed primaries are what gave us McCain and Romney. Many conservatives with principles have left the GOP and have become Independent. What good will it do to shut conscientious conservatives out of primaries so that the RINO uniparty Bushes, Romney, McCain are the only candidates?

The real pro American anti globalist base voted for Trump. Closing primaries will not change that.
