I was thinking that it might have been foreseen then allowed to proceed so that (a) enthusiastic participants could be arrested and (b) a pretext could be set for arresting anyone on a bogus charge of sympathy.
This is the sort of black op technique that we can expect to see deployed against conservatives in the future. Be aware and don’t go to a counter-revolutionary stand prematurely so to speak. I’ve encountered police agents on conservative websites looking to trick activists into making actionable statements or revealing identities, etc.
