What and when was Romney running against Trump?
Romney insulted and attacked Trump before Utah include calling his wife a gold digging whore. Trump ripped him a new butt-hole for weeks after that. Mormons never see the offense they cause so the attacks on Romney seem wrong to them. They're still bitter at the GOP rank and file for not voting for Mitt as much as they wanted last time around. It's always someone else’s fault with Mormons.
lol, well in theory you’re correct but as Romney gathered people together and went on TV to announce to the world that he would never ever, ever, vote for Trump, I guess that made a big enough splash to get the backlash he so richly deserved.
