Would you say the same about a federal law that trampled the Second Amendment?

The law is the law until someone takes it to court and the law is found to be unconstitutional or congress repeals the law.
Congress can make a law requiring everyone to wear a chocolate frog on their head and it is the law until someone appeals the law and the courts rule on it or congress repeals the law.
Checks and balances.

So if the pass a law confiscating guns, your response is => the law is the law until someone takes it to court and the law is found to be unconstitutional or congress repeals the law?

And I was never addicted to MJ, and neither was anyone else, because MJ is not addictive.

The National Institute on drug abuse would disagree with you.

As would this treatment center:

As does WebMD.com

And many, many, many others...

I do not give a rat’s rear end about any of these stupid fools.

Alcohol is addictive, mkay. Alcohol results in domestic violence and death.

As long as alcohol remains legal, there is zero reason for MJ, which is NOT ADDICTIVE, to be illegal.

I’m sorry that people are so dumb that they don’t even know what addiction is.

No, I do not want to throw people in jail because they wanted to smoke some pot.

If you want to throw people in jail because they smoked some pot, knock yourself out, man.

So you’re telling me, with a straight face, that marijuana doesn’t result in domestic violence and/or death?

Bwahahahahahaha!

I am telling you, with a straight face, that I grew up with a violent chronic alcoholic that beat my family with his fists.

I grew up with a stinking drunk, who was a Coast Guard Captain, who tried to kill my mom while he was drunk one night by “stomping her eyeballs out”.

Bwahahahahahaha! That’s some funny ****in’ ****, ain’t it!?

I am telling you, with a straight face, and you and your little goober sources don’t know diddly friggin’ squat about substance abuse, addiction, or anything else along those lines, and that my life experiences make me an expert over all of them.

I am telling you, with a straight face, to get out of my face with your BS, because you are an ignorant fool.

I have walked this path. You are not capable of educating me.

I have walked this path. You are not capable of educating me.

You think you are the only one who has personal experience with abusive addicted people? You must have gone to the Ted Cruz School of Narcissism.

My sister is a violent drunk. Her long-time live-in other was a violent drunk. My uncles were violent drunks. I have cousins who are violent drunks. Shut your effin' pie hole about me being ignorant.

Alcohol being "bad" doesn't make marijuana "good". Just because we are stupid enough to make alcohol legal doesn't justify making the same mistake with pot.

I have seen young men get very violent when deprived of the pot they have become addicted to. True, marijuana mellows you out while you are high (and impairs your judgement and makes you stupid), but once the high is gone you are left with an irritated (now dumber) asshole who will do anything to get high again. When his wife tells him she spent all the money on groceries (because he had the munchies) and there is none left for pot, and he starts beating her and calling her a stupid bitch, marijuana's reputation for being a benign, harmless drug is pretty much out the window.

Semper Paratus you arrogant ass.

I never said marijuana was good.

I said it’s not addictive, which it is not.

And no, I am not going to shut my pie hole about you being ignorant, because you are ignorant.

I’ve smoked more pot that you can even imagine.

Wanna know how hard it was to quit.

Dome, just like that. No problem. Didn’t beat my wife, didn’t kick my dog. Didn’t even have a stomach ache.

I also quit cigarettes, xanax, valium, loricet, soma, cocaine, and LSD, which incidentally is also not addictive.

You want to tell me I don’t know about addiction? You want to tell me I don’t know the difference between liking something and being mad when my bag is empty versus hating something more than anything on this earth, but if I stop doing it I’m going to die?

Get out of here, man. Amateur.

And screw Coast Guard drunks. Dishonorable discharge, Captain, better skill next time. Oops.

So because YOU quit and YOU had had no ill effects, then marijuana (and this cornucopia of other drugs you have ingested) are not addictive...right...

You graduated with honors from the Ted Cruz School of Narcissism.

No body else I ever knew that smoked pot had pot withdrawal symptoms. And I knew a lot of pot smokers.

No one. Sorry.

Did they all wish that they had more when their bag ran empty? Yep, every one.

Smoked it all, now it’s gone. Too bad, so sad.

But hey, if you want to believe pot is addictive, you be my guest. You do whatever the Hell you like.

There is no point in us conversing any further.

Have a nice life or whatever.

One last post to you.

I said marijuana and LSD are not addictive. I never said cigarettes, xanax, valium and loricet are not addictive, because they most certainly are, but I also believe that cigarettes are not as ferocious an addiction as most people think.

In fact, I could write you a book about xanax addiction, but I doubt you would be able to understand it, so I won’t.

I’m not sure of soma is addictive. If it is, I didn’t suffer any ill effects from stopping its usage cold turkey.

Anyway, like I said before, have a nice life or whatever.

In my job, peoples’ addictions and their motivations are my business...especially as I wrap up “them and their business” and send them to the morgue! Yeah I’ll share what I know about addiction with you...the whole rot and smell and stink and misery of it! The half stoned families wondering why ol’ bill is dying or the parents’ sorrow over the youngster with THC and Coke and heroin in his system his left pupil blown and being pounded on during a code blue.(he was 21)...yeah I’ll tell you about them.

There is nothing that you could teach me about addiction and the slavery to drugs that I haven’t read in the obituaries or in the death reports I write! Weed is a gateway drug for many...a gateway to hell! And the US folks that use the stuff sourced from south of the border(you know the nice just wanna get high stoner folks or misled libertarians) have the blood of those killed for the sake of drug profit red upon their hands!
There are no valid apologetics that exist to defend the drug trade, even weed!

And that is my opinion and yes I am my Brother’s keeper and yes I will mind his business as I try to save him from hell!

Don’t like it...well that is what having opinions are all about...most of them and a dollar 59 will just buy a coffee at McDonald’s anyway...so as Hillary would say”what difference does it make?”

Then you should already know that you cannot save your brother, or anyone else, from Hell, can you?

You should know by now that the only person who can save an addict is the addict himself. And the only one who can help the addict save himself is God.

You should already know by now that laws will not stop the addict, jail will not stop the addict, prison will not stop the addict. Even in a 24/ 7 policed environment, the addict still gets his drugs, doesn’t he?

No matter how much you want to save someone from himself, you can’t.

Some people were put on this earth to do battle with themselves, and that is just the way it is.

Go ahead, tell me I’m wrong.

Proverbs 24:11Deliver those that are drawn toward death, hold back those that are stumbling to the slaughter;

12If you say, Behold, we knew it not; does not he that weighs the heart consider it? and he that keeps your soul, does not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?

I don’t have to tell you if you are wrong or right...the above verse informs my conscience on the matter. Whether or not it informs yours “is your own business” as you like to say!
