When my family moved from Long Island, NY to Santa Barbara in the 1970’s, California gained a bunch of Republican voters.

I lived in California for 16 years, and while there were transplants from the East Coast and elsewhere who brought their liberal voting patterns with them, there was also no shortage of native-born Californians who were democrat loving moonbats (in my experience).

I would love to move my business to California. I loved where I grew up (South Lake Tahoe). It’s a beautiful state. BUT, it is business suicide to even contemplate the move.

‘Sorry to say, Fineswine is a home-grown Capo Communist’

You’re right. I thought she was one of our imports from the East Coast.

My husband has cousins in CA. One of them used to call us in August tell tell us “the weather is here, wish you were beautiful”.

August in Texas is brutal and they loved to laugh about it.

Some people have really short memories.

They burned the ballots of Californians and declared their election illegal after CA 187 won big. This was done by the feds working in concert with their state gov co-conspirators.

The results of that 1994 historic California election can now be seen coast to coast.

It was at that time, I lost nearly all faith and trust in government.

Never forget these SOBs.

Now it will be a crime to buy guns with a “bullet button” for example.

What the heck is a bullet button?

I should have said: The results of that corrupt government intrusion into their 1994 historic California election can now be seen coast to coast.

Funny. The Governator didn’t appeal it, either.

Since she died last year, we can only hope she’s started her “eternity experiencing the crimes of illegals!”

“What the heck is a bullet button? “

If you own a rife (in California) that has at least two of the three items deemed to make it “an assault weapon (AR-15 primarily, but also AK-47) (the items are a Collapsible stock, a pistol grip, and a flash “hider), you have to have a “fixed magazine that has to be only able to be removed by means of a “tool.” So some folks developed a mag release button that has a spring loaded, recessed button within the main “button,” that has to be depressed by means of a “tool” to release the mag. The tip of a .223 round can be used to depress that button, hence the name. Actually, I have found that a .22LR fired case works better, because you can leave it in place so long as no one in authority is watching.
Now, as of a year from now, CA will no longer allow the saie of these weapons, so evidently the “fix is a mag release that works when you remove that rear takedown pin and break the weapon. It’s all bullshit.

187 was our last chance to turn things around. It’s a tragedy.

I spent a year on Treasure Island in ‘62 and ‘63. California was referred to routinely as the “land of fruits and nuts” back then and San Francisco richly deserved the title even then.

Good gravy!

Your legislators need a hobby!

Knitting. Knitting is good.

“Never forget these SOBs.”

I’m old. What worries me is that young people seem completely oblivious to these evils.

That was all by design via the schools/government/media, et al.

I know, but how can we save some of them?

My mom used to call it the “land of fruits and nuts” back in the 1950s, as she had a sister that lived in Santa Barbara.

I was born in the early 70s. I can't even imagine how awesome California must have been in the 1950s, before the invasion.

Why not just live (and have your business) on the Nevada side?
