GOP convention organizers unveiled the schedule for the Republican National Convention on Sunday amid tensions from violence at home and terrorism and instability abroad. Thus, Monday’s theme, “Make America Safe Again,” is particularly timely.
“From attacks on our own soil and overseas to the tragedy in Benghazi, the policies of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have left us vulnerable,” the program announcement reads. “Our immigration system is broken, leaving our country open to security threats and the negative consequences of illegal immigration. A Donald Trump administration will listen to and learn from our nation’s heroes who have put themselves in harm’s way and pursue a national security strategy and foreign policy that will strengthen our military and make America safe again.”

"The plan for the Trump campaign for this convention is to help the American people understand more about Donald Trump the man, not just the candidate they see on the campaign trail," Trump’s campaign manager Paul Manafort said on Sunday during a news conference.
"This is a Trump convention," he added, noting the Trump will make several appearances during the convention.
And his wife. And we will all watch to see how hot she will look...

Great theme, but I can’t help but notice the RNC is piggy-backing off of Trump’s “Make America Great Again”.
It would be unfortunate if the 'rats had the opportunity to say, They can't even keep their own convention safe, never mind America.

this is actually very appropriate for today’s program.
if you’ll look at the rest of the week, the GOP program will have a new tie in each days to trump’s main theme of “make america great again.”
monday: make american safe again
tuesday: make america work again
wednesday: make america first again
thursday: make americaone again
personally, I think “piggy backing” it is a very clever tie in to trump/gop platform
Maybe so. I noticed the various themes in a later article. Maybe the RNC is coming around to Trump.
Making America safe is up at the top of the list for me regardless of who’s theme it is...and will speak to many voters.
In making America safe again the plan needs to be connected to making central and state governments small again!
Another top issue is to do the opposite of what Hitlery proposes. Slash the corporate tax to zero and stop making the middle class taxpayers the ones who have to carry this evil government!
Eliminate government worker pensions and perhaps industry will follow. People need to save for their OWN retirement. cut out welfare and illegitimate births will decline.
