Excellent analysis. I make the exact same point all the time. Obama speaks so calmly and has such agreeable manners that most people don’t notice how reckless and spiteful his rhetoric is.
A real leader would simply say, “I know emotions are running high, but every one should remain calm and let the legal system figure it out.” Instead he has wrongfully suggested Zimmerman was guilty, the Ferguson cop was a murder, and the Baltimore 7 were out of control. One of these days, he’ll probably guess right, but for the most part he’s advanced a narrative that simply is not true.
