Turkey is convinced Arab countries were involved in Friday nights failed coup attempt against President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, an Arab intelligence source told Breitbart Jerusalem. The source said that Ankara believes the UAE and Egypt, two of the bitterest enemies of the Muslim Brotherhood in the Arab world, sought to undermine Erdogans regime, one of the movements staunchest allies and sponsors.
Turkish embassies and intelligence agents across the Middle East have been trying to accumulate damning evidence of the involvement of these countries espionage agencies in the failed coup, he added.
Turkey has also inquired whether the Turkish cleric Fethullah Gulan, Erdogans US-based arch-nemesis, visited the UAE last week to finalize plans for the coup attempt.
Since Friday, Turkey has reviewed every possible piece of evidence supposedly linking the UAE and Egypt to the attempted coup, he said.
If Gulan indeed visited the UAE, the Turks will have their smoking gun. They are also looking into the role played by Mohammed Dahlan, formerly a top Palestinian Authority official, who is currently a close adviser to Prince Muhammad Bin Zayed, the heir to the UAE throne, and their ally President Abdel Fatah Sisi of Egypt. Turkey sees Dahlan as the centerpiece of an international anti-Muslim Brotherhood network

I’m not so sure that Obama has ever had any intention of “ousting” Assad. Nor am I convinced there was ever any real effort to support the “moderates” in that AO.
What I do believe, from what I’ve been able to dig through, is that the Obama admin has been making noise about doing one thing or the other, to feed to the press, while doing everything it can get away with in mucking about and indirectly supporting ISIS.
I am also convinced that the Obama regime recognized quite early on the value of the “Syrian crisis” in generating refugee cover for allowing steady inflow of hostile jihadists into both the US and Eu and has done everything they can get away with to aid that program.
That was pre-coup attempt. Post coup attempt Russian response is becoming hostile again.
It’s the Reichstag fire all over again — Erdogan has been conducting a rolling coup in favor of Sharia ever since he took office.
The culprits are closer to home.... check the whereabouts of the goat herders.
May not be changing as rapidly as they expect. The counter fake coup forces have really not been heard from yet. Three unidentified helicopters just spotted over Instanbul. Think about it, will we go silently into the night after Obama’s Reichstag Fire ?
This is like watching a basketball game where there are ten teams on the court.
The one thing I can be sure of is that Obama will screw this up and make it worse.
It is like ten teams on a court.
“Hey folks, the bad guys are over there”
Signed, Erdogen
I thought that this smelled more like an Erdogan false flag operation.
FWIW - My spell checker wanted to replace 'Erdogan' with 'Underdog'.

So what you are saying is he is just a bumbling idiot who doesn’t know what he is doing and isn’t accomplishing anything anywhere.
Interesting analysis.
Everything that I’ve been learning is that he has an agenda and is working hard at it. One man’s perceived incompetence and fecklessness is another man’s agenda.
Becoming hostile to?
I’m sure John Kerry can straighten this all out. /s
To Turkey.
Looks like the opposite is happening according to the news I have been reading. From what I can gather there has recently been a big shift with several of the players involved with the Syrian conflict that have been on the US/European side an not to their liking.
It’ll be interesting to see how this shakes out over the rest of the year.
Turkey and Russia were warming up to each other only a few days ago but this is now going cold. I expect that Putin sees Erdogan as a serious threat because of this coup attempt (The Russians did not condemn it) and I agree with you it should be interesting. I’ll get you the articles I read earlier today.
I think Erdogan suckered a group to make the attempt at the same time that the group understood they were the last Constitutional military in Turkiye. The revenge thing was planned out ahead of time. It was all ready. Some of the actors in the drama seemed to be putting on a show and not really part of an actual coup attempt- the aircraft that permitted Erdogan to land in an apparently contested airport.

Then, during play or breaks, some of the players change uniforms and teams.
Erdogan has big big plans. Now investigating Incirlik to see if there is a connection between Incirlik, Gulen and Coup.
