Read the 28 pages for yourself at the link. http://intelligence.house.gov/sites/intelligence.house.gov/files/documents/declasspart4.pdf
Bottom Line: The Saudi Ambassador to the USA, Prince Bandar, and a bunch of intelligence officers from his embassy, were either running the 9-11 operation, or heavily supporting it up to their eyeballs. It was an act of war, in my opinion.
Although the predominance of evidence is damning, they treat it as not definitive enough to prove it to have been official Government policy, rather than just heavy infiltration of the Government by al Queda sympathizers.
It showed me that the mosques and organizations established by Saudis in this country were, and likely still are, used to launder terrorist financing and serve as logistical support for terrorists.
Other Saudi embassies around the world were also providing similar support and financing through the same front groups, and they involved contractors and government personnel from multiple Saudi Ministries, like Defense, Interior and Aviation; as well as charities controlled by members of the royal family. When talking about the largest Saudi charity, al Haramain, the report stated that this raised questions about Prince Nayef as well.
Clearly the most damning statements are still redacted, but the conclusion seems to be that before 9-11, American Counter-intelligence did not view the Government of Saudi Arabia as a threat to the US, but after the initial investigation, they must treat it as such.
Then carpet-nuke the entire middle east as cleanup.
What it also proves is that George Dubya Bush was an accomplice to terrorism and heavily involved in making sure that those responsible for 911 would get away with it.
Add it to the mountain of evidence... such as being curiously quick to ship off the WTC steel to China as scrap instead of preserving it as evidence as required by law.
I read the whole thing, and that’s one of the five key things I came away with. I doubt if he read a single line of the 28 pages. Both he and Cheney, in my book, are losers....totally part of the Saudi regime.
Seems so. His bullhorn speech loses a lot when you adjust it to “... and the people who brought down these buildings (except the Saudis, they’re under my protection) will hear from all of us soon!”
I would really like to see George Junior in a courtroom for this. Or at least before a congressional committee or two.
Remember how he let all those Saudis leave the country immediately?
The Saudii King heard mostly slurping from George Junior.
Or a firing squad.
TAKE THE OIL
Remember, H.W. Bush and the GOPee turned on middle class Americans as soon as Reagan left the Presidency and ceded control of the GOP.
fyi
My question now would be....who came to him and got the permission for them to leave? Cheney? Rove? Who was the connection to the Saudis? That’s the guy that needs to be dragged out into the public and noted for his behavior.
It was Bush. They were friends of his.
I don’t think the report shows the Saudis being more involved than we thought they were. I think it just shows how our government or just the Bush Administration wanted to protect them.
No...someone had to call a guy on the inside of the circle...to get Bush aware of the problem. There were probably 80,000 people trying in the first 12 hours of 9-11 to contact Bush. There’s some insider who directed Bush to the problem and got him hooked up to let them leave the country.
No surprise that the best friends of the Bush Crime Family Syndicate are fingered.
The damage that the Bush’s and Clinton’s have done to this nation is beyond comprehension. In the future their name must be treated as the foulest insult in English
His dad.
