Moderate Muslims have come to the US from many bad situations 30 years ago and more—Muslims fleeing the Ayatollas in Iran, Muslims fleeing Saddam Hussein and his vicious sons; Muslims fleeing Wahabism in Saudi Arabia, Muslims fleeing warfare in North Africa, and on and on.
Now their children are growing up and discovering they are not as happy as they think they should be in the US or Europe. Not very many of them, but enough to be very dangerous. Often the parents are shocked and frightened.
Good observations. A complete end to Moslem immigration tomorrow would not do a thing about the 2nd- and 3rd-generation jihadists found both in the U.S. and in Europe.
There is a good movie about secular arabs Kite Runners. It shows the different sides of the arabs before the mullahs and taliban. Has kids playing with kites (which are now banned).
