CNN - Gloria Borger, nothing conventional about this. Trump talked 28 minutes about himself, his candidacy and why Hillary had to be defeated before talking about Pence. Trump was very honest about being an outside, and how that influenced his choice of Pence. Looked as though Pence might make only a cameo, but Pence gave a very conventional acceptance speech.

Dana Bash says, yeah but if you sort through the 28 minutes of Trumps talk, you can see how the remarks play into how he made his choice.

Dana Bash is intrigued that Trump honestly said he was an outsider. LOL.

Nia-Malika Henderson says Pence looks presidential, and people seeing him for the first time may wonder why Pence is not at the top of the ticket. Thought his presentation was quite good, especially in contrast with Trumps. Wondering if Pence will be on a short leash.
