Don’t think there is anything to it. Pence flew into Teterboro last night, but Trump called off the announcement for today. So Pence I’m assuming decided to go back to Indiana rather than wait around 2 days. Dana Bash (who can’t pronounce her name correctly), ran with some bs tweet about an unnamed source who said Trump was trying to get out of picking Pence. Then the Washington Compost ran with it as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if the source was Newt, if there even was a source.

Yeah, I would guess (but who knows?) that any supposed evidence of Trump hesitating over Pence last night had only to do with the terror attack in France. Trump didn’t want to proceed with a political announcement while such terrible events were unfolding in France.

IF there was any more to it I seriously doubt that Dana Bash is in the loop on it. Unless real evidence is presented, I am going to suspect that Trump was only hesitating due to the horror in France (which was an appropriate reason to put off political announcements) and not because he had last-minute doubts about nominating Pence.
