“Did Comey say he couldn’t say whether there is an FBI investigation?”
When he said that he was talking about a separate investigation of the Clinton Foundation, not about the SoS email investigation.
Why could the FBI disclose that they were investigating the SoS email issue but can’t disclose whether they are investigating the Clinton Foundation? Thanks to anybody who can help me understand this.
The FBI disclosed that they also - in addition to the Ferguson people and the MO AG - were investigating the Michael Brown death, and even that they were having their own autopsy done. Why could they disclose those things?
