“I know Ill get killed for this, but I think he took one for the team.
Shes lost about 10 or more points since he damned her with faint praise.
Did he wuss out? Probably, but got SOME courage at the last minute and buried her.
I dont care if one monster goes to jail this year or next year.
300 MILLION people matter a lot more than our egos or righteous anger.”
When he said that no prosecutor would take this case...well, I can see that - which prosecutor wants to be in the crosshairs (literally and figuratively) of the Clinton family?
He could have had a 5-minute press conference, cast doubt and dispersions on the various accusations against Clinton, and THEN said that no prosecutor would touch this. But he didn’t do that, he went on for about 13 minutes, in GREAT detail, about her obvious guilt. He left so much out in the public view to distrust about her (well, more than was already out there), that he helped to drive a stake into her campaign. It wasn’t a killing blow, but it drew blood. As you mentioned, her polls are down quite a bit...and that was before Nice, and before Pence was chosen.
This election is Trump’s to lose at this point, and a part of the credit HAS to go to Comey...even though it was incredibly disappointing to see a no prosecute decision.
There is a lot of merit to your analysis.
Bump. Comey left the door open. I hope that he and his gumshoe buddies are now ripping the Clinton Foundation apart.
The deeds done by the Clinton Foundation make Killary’s email transgressions look like a walk in the park.
Read “Clinton Cash.”
