Without debating the merits of this statement I am not sure exactly what your point is as it relates to this story? When crime stats are kept they are broken down into categories, Hispanic being one of them. This is blatant case of trying to distort. Obviously they have Hispanic victims. Most people know who is being talked about when the term Hispanic is used as opposed to white.
This doesn't even begin to address the political/social system in this country. For a race that doesn't exist they have specific political power i.e'; the Hispanic Caucus, thier own lobbying groups, TV - newspapers and thousands of social groups. Somebody needs to tell them they don't exist...
I was actually commenting to the first post, not to the story.
From the point of view of race, there are only four. Black, white, oriental, and aboriginal (e.g. native Australian). Everyone belongs to one or more of those categories.
The OP was confusing an ethnicity (in this case, based on language, but also often based on religion) with a race. That is a common mistake. Muslims are mostly white, Jews are almost exclusively white, the majority of Hispanics are white, although there are sizable groups of black and native American Hispanics.
