Yes, indeed.
As I have been saying for years, it is TIME to DownSize DC! Close entire Rogue/Unconstitutional Departments, including their SWAT Teams.
It is time to force Congress to telecommute most of the year from their home district, under the thumb of the electorate.
The constitution states that Congress shall meet at least 1 time per year and specifies the time for meeting. (has been changed) It DOES NOT specify how long they should meet.
The state of TX Legislature meets every 2 years, unless the Governor calls for a special session. There is not reason for Congress to be in DC most of the year.
Every state has plenty of super-sized bureaucRATic infrastructure, they can probably handle about any social issue on their own.
There is no need for the millions of overpaid/underworked (if they work at all) parasites in DC.
If there were to be any “revenue sharing” I’m sure each “sector” of the public trough could be handled by a couple of employees in an office somewhere, following the directives of the Legislative and Executive branches. (they have fancy computers now doncha know.)
Ska-rew the unfunded liabilities of their bennies and pensions. Trump can tell them all:
