because trump hasn’t announced anything. the only outlet reporting this is something called rollcall.com that drudge linked to.

His announcement is tomorrow at 11am eastern
Drudge links to NYT who is speculating and does not know.
They put two and two together. Pence is not on the list of speakers for the convention while Gingrich and Christie are. The announcement is scheduled for 11 AM tomorrow and Pence has a deadline of Noon to get his name removed from the November ballot for governor. It's pretty obvious.
I think after all Drudge’s support, Trump let him break it.
The TV networks no longer control the news, what breaks, or who communicates. The Internet changed all that forever.☺
