He's outside the normal system, he gets things done, he's bold, he's actually like a figure out of a movie," the former House speaker said during an interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity. "In a lot of ways, my entire career has been a little bit like a pirate. I've taken on the establishment in both parties, [I'm] very prepared to fight in the media.

I was once a HUGE Newtie fan, have personally signed books mt him, and probably know more about him and what he has ever written, had written about him, said, and done, than you ever shall.

Just because I can't come up with someone I'd really want Trump to pick, only means that I don't know everyone living in this nation, well, or at all.

OTOH, I look at the VEEP pick as Hillary and her team would ( which IS hows everyone should ), to see how easy or difficult it would be to bring that person down. If I can destroy Newtie or Christie in ten minutes or less, just think what the Clinton team could do!

Me, too. I guess I was just hoping for someone who would make me jump up and down and go: “HELL, YEAH!” and make the GOP-e and democrats fume... but I have to admit I don’t have the slightest idea who that could have been. At least Pence seems like he’ll make some of the recalcitrant Republicans sleep easier, and it doesn’t look like there’s any dirt the democrats can dig up on him. Both of those are good things.

By the way, Fox News reporting that the Trump campaign has denied that a decision has been made... guess we’ll know in the morning for sure :-).

I've got FNC on and the Trump team is NOT happy...they HATE leaks! So IF Pence now gets the boot, I'm back to praying that he picks neither Newt nor Christie.

The thing about Pence, is that thank GOD he IS boring and he won't give Trump a hard time, as Newt would have. We do NOT have TWO presidents at one time.
