Why? I don’t have one in my life so why do I need one on screen? Hey, Hollyweird, that might be why I haven’t wasted my time or money going to the movies in years.
When is Sheldon going to come out as gay on The Big Bang Theory?
HGTV has nothing but gays. The Foodnetwork is nearly as bad. Those used to be safe channels to get away from all the in your face homocrap on the other channels. I rarely watch anything anymore.
Given the events of the most recent season, I'd be inclined to say "never." ;)
That is certainly true. How many ticket sales will they lose because of this unnecessary politicization of the series? They really don't care. One more movie off the watch list.
I’m guessing as soon as they figure out how to believably transform Mayim Bialick into a “Transgendered Man” or whateverthehellyoucallit....:0)
Try TCM or TVLND.
We get further and further away from reality. I have not met a homosexual who is not overwhelmed with some problem caused by their sexual practices - disease, addiction, depression, mental-illness, hyper-sexuality, violence - this is the warp and woof of the “gay lifestyle.” There’s nothing “gay” or happy about it.
Why doesn’t Hollywood portray that?
For a long time, the pecking order in commercials has been...
In descending order by Power Ratings:
In addition, the two males at the bottom are safe targets for any sort of derision or the butt of any joke. No one of any importance will be complaining to the advertiser.
Example:
The same for TV shows and kids cartoons.
I haven’t watched either of those for years, so it’s very likely that goal has already been reached.
he finally got around to doing it....... not gay
And every white male in every commercial must be a stupid, incompetent fool.
Women and blacks are wise.
interesting that Takei has come out (as it were...) against this.
He is a very active LGBT person. If my memory is correct, I think he also served on the LA city council for a time. So he’s not a quiet, conservative, not in your face homo. He’s out there, usually yukking it up.
But I think it’s a tribute to him and an indictment to the lunacy of their agenda that he values artistic integrity over gay activism. Good for George Sulu.
That is EXACTLY what I pointed out to my wife just the night before last when she said I watch too much old TV and cop shows. I said I am beyond tired of the white dumb husband stuff, the fag in every household crap, the single parent home that does not look like it is in shambles. Even Blue Bloods which had a kind of moral element began moving into the homo area and against church policies a season ago.
When I watch say first 48, I always make a point of noting how few whites are committing these murders pointing out the camera crews are with one group of detectives and have to take what comes along by random. Funny, I cannot believe that show is still on and not the target of some protest.
Not just movies/TV but books, too. I find that so much fiction written in the last few years has a gay character somewhere. And it almost always has nothing to do with the story/plot.
What a great idea, think about it.
In every horror movie, the gay guys could get killed off first.
In every blackpilctation movie, the two gay gays could get killed off first.
In every Sci Fi movie, the Two Gay guys could get killed off first.
In every suspense thriller, the two gay guys could killed off first.
In every romantic comedy, the two gay guys could get killed off first.
In every Broadway musical movie, the two gay guys get killed off first.
In every nature film the two gay guys could get killed off first.
Don’t blame me, Hollywood wanted me to write scripts where the audiences would feel for the two gay guys almost immediately.
It just would not fit the agenda to put the homosexual character in a red shirt (or a red mini dress) and have him suffer a typical red shirt fate.
Used to like summer first run Major Crimes but had enough when kid in show came out. Stopped watching never went back. Not that I don’t/won’t watch gay characters but this just ticked me off as sooooooooo trite.
Minor disagreement from Cletus.
I’ve noticed that, while several chefs are LGBT, it appears that the judges don’t consider that in their decision. Taste and presentation take precedent over cultural status.
I may be wrong?
