That’s funny. He’s been cranking up the filing of potholes but streets are a disaster and all this heat is not going to help. Have to go into the City once a week. Then my next stop is at my local mechanic in the burbs to have my front end aligned. Noticed that the feeders along 59 from Greenbriar to Buffalo Speedway are really overgrown and lots of trash-pretty shabby looking.
Turner’s got a big push on to get the city ready for the big football game. Suspect that the train route from downtown to NRG is first priority for spiffing up. Heard some rumbling through friends that he is also trying to cut expenses but is meeting a whole lot of resistance from City employees and the Council. He’s probably as good as Houston is going to get considering that it’s a sanctuary city and lots of folks waiting for someone else to pull the wagon.
