“Prayer works and changes evil’s planned outcomes.”

Not discouraging you from praying — please do, but consider that sometimes these things are a consequence of God removing His protective graces — or an outright chastisement — when the people are deserving of such.

Yes, I realize this; however, I know our Lord and His word. He changes circumstances and his plans in answer to prayer and faith. I am mainly referring to the greater evil attacking America and not just this bump in the road we call BLM or any riots. Strong prayer from a knowledge of who we are in Christ is what is needed. Not wimpy “If it is your will to destroy people, do so” type prayers.

Examples of God changing His plans and circumstances:

OT:
More than once God told Moses He was going to kill the Israelites. Once, God told Moses to go away because He was going to kill them. Moses did not leave, but stayed and talked God out of it. And another time, he again talked God out of killing them. (prayer and faith in action) See Exodus 32:10-14; Numbers 14:11-20 and Deuteronomy 9:12-19.

NT:
When Jesus told a woman He was not sent to help her, the non-Israelite woman told Jesus He was wrong. The result was Jesus saw she had great faith and He changed his orders to heal her daughter. (prayer (talking to the Lord) and faith in action). See Matthew 15:22-29.
