President Obama joined the chorus of Democrats calling for the creation of a government run health insurance program as Obamacare is facing growing problems.
In an article published Monday in the Journal of the American Medical Association, the president called for Congress to revisit the "public option" for Obamacare in areas where few insurers offer coverage.
"Some parts of the country have struggled with limited insurance market competition for many years, which is one reason that, in the original debate over health reform, Congress considered and I supported including a Medicare-like public plan," Obama wrote in the piece.
A public option would mean a government run health insurance plan.

Not sure if they intend this, but you get a glimpse into the soft underbelly of the Canadian Health Care system. "Emergency" is filmed in Vancouver. One episode which was quite interesting had to do with a 74-year old diabetic. He had sores on his foot, and had been trying to get an appointment with his Primary Care Physician. Because of the wait times imposed due to his age, his first available appointment to see his doctor was in 3 months. By that time, his foot had become gangrenous, and now he was in the ER.
He had to get the foot amputated.
Told ya! That’s what this was all about. That’s why there was no need to read what was in it. The point was to break the system, so as to bring about Single-Payer.

Many doctors in the DFW area do not accept Obamacare policies. I cannot see doctors in other areas of the country accepting these useless policies either. That is why this jug-eared Marxist is trying to push this stupidity.
I believe the government track record of intrusion into things none of its business is so exemplary they should think big - why stop at medical care? Why don’t they design women’s fashion? How about they start a record label and get the really good tunes were missing out there? Why not interior design? It’s just as stupid...
I guess that’s the secret to high approval ratings for the Canadian Health Care System. Anyone who has had a bad experience with it is dead.

Namely, a better than 9-1 ratio of groups which are mainly wagon pullers to groups which are mainly wagon riders. And even those inclined to be wagon riders tend to be better educated and more apt to pull than their south of the border counterparts. The Blacks, for instance, are mostly descendants of escaped slaves or Carribbean-African stock who value rather than disparage education. Canada has little problem with illegal immigration because they mostly enforce their borders whereas we prioritize border crashers over citizens and those legally here.
Huge difference.
Plus, we subsidize Canadian drug prices by prohibiting re-importation. And, if they get tired of the queue, they can always pay cash and come here.
So, in many ways, they get the best of both worlds.
Democrats: we screwed up, please accept our alternative plan.
