On a related note, the other day Dick Morris was talking about a difference between Hispanic voters born in the U.S., whom he said are more likely to be persuaded to vote for Trump, vs. those born outside the U.S., whom he said are more likely to vote for Hillary.
They are not, but if we pull off 35 to 40 percent, it will be GREAT and we will win.
That nonsense months back about 30 perent black and 70 percent latino, that was all it was, nonsense.
The Cuban crowd in FL helps a lot.
Let’s focus on getting as many votes as we can from everywhere but there is NOT DOUBT white male turnout and a gap of 25 percent or more for Trump among them is hte key.
Good, the next step is hiring preferences.
My understanding was that Nixon thought creating “Hispanics” would give him a conservative minority group. He figured wrong.
Are Spanish speaking Argentine’s of German origin Latin or Hispanic? ;-)
The only people who support him are the American people.
Well said! With the added benefit of the truth...
Trump will win Florida and its goodly number of electoral votes (29) by a tsunami.

They are whatever they self identify as.
These terms(Latino, Hispanic) are used mostly as political expressions to unite political groups who are in fact very different. The terms are also used as weapons against America. People are told to identify as a Spanish speaker(even though they know English) and not as an American. They are told to identify with their country of origin against America. They are told to unite against English speaking Americans and demand bilingual everything. They are told to create an us against them mentality among Spanish speakers. They are told to demand special privleges.
The media and the politicians are far more concerned about these terms than ordinary Americans.
Then who are the Chicanos?
Who knows! Probably Hispanic.
They are only of Mexican background. You would never call people from (or whose family were from) other places in Latin America Chicanos.
this polling firm has been very solid in their polling in the small number of polls they have put out. They tend to overstate Republican advantage by 0.9%. That being said the portion of this poll that self identified as ‘latino’ was less than 56 people.. so i wouldn’t read too much into that demo using this poll.
