The University of Cincinnati has rolled out a new policy that requires faculty and staff applicants pledge their commitment to “diversity and inclusion.”
The policy comes at a university with a stated goal of hiring more “historically underrepresented” employees, a benchmark spelled out in its “UC Affirmative Action Plan” that calls for more African American, women, and other “traditionally unrepresented” employees campuswide.

Diversity and inclusion sometimes may be equal to a can of spam it’s all in the mix.
How about if I pledge that my children will not attend school there?
Remember that “diversity” only includes approved thoughts and actions. Being conservative, white or male is not considered diverse and is unacceptable.
I’m going to apply for work as an NBA center because white 59 yr. old men are “historically underrepresented” in this sport.
That’s the reasonable definition of “diversity and inclusion.” Not the Left’s.

I’m a UC graduate. It’s a corny policy that is already covered under federal law. University of Cincinnati is probably Ohio’s 2nd largest public university, and yes, it does receive (lots) of federal funding.
Therefore, discrimination by any employee would be discrimination in violation of federal law. So, my suspicion is that the University has actually added gender identity and other niceties to that document that gets signed.
Diverse = Marxist, Leninist, Stalinist, Hitlerite, Maoist, Trotskyite, Bolshevik, Fascist ...
