Can Pence run for re-election as Indiana governor and for the vice-president spot at the same time? Otherwise you would be asking him to choose between a virtual certainty of being re-elected governor and the relative uncertainty of being elected vice-president.
No decision has to be made soon so he can step out of governor race.
