I think the author is really stretching to try and compare the two. And, it rings hollow to my ears.

I didn't think it was possible, but you seem to have completely misunderstood and missed the theme of the article. In fact, you seem to have understood it completely backwards!
I suggest that you go back and reread the article before you embarrass yourself with any further inane posts.
The article is compare and *contrast*—to show that there is a world of difference between, for example, enclosing words inside a star, and overtly calling everyone with German ethnicity a Nazi/follower of Hitler (which Hillary did a few weeks ago).
I, for one, am really tired of the “moral equivalency” hokum. I am glad this author tackled it, and would love to see more tackle it in the future.
