Mine, too! The possibility also has the eGOP in a tizzy because he's not a Republican (neither am I). I'll give him 5 more points for causing sleepless nights among the eGOP.

I get your point but my impression is that he fumbled around a lot -- came across to me as trying to be "politically sensitive" which is clearly hard for him to be (and good for him that he's not your typical professional politician").

He also defined himself very narrowly as concerned mostly about national security. That's an essential thing, of course, but his statement compresses his viability as a vice-presidential candidate to a single issue.

Don't get me wrong, I like the guy and I like what he stands for as far as illegal immigration and national security, but I don't think he'd make a good running mate for Trump.
