An African-American police officer from Florida has laid bare his heart in a powerful way.

Pundits have been talking non-stop since a new wave of sensationalized stories about so-called trigger happy cops hit the news last week.

Brutal reality hits officer Jay Stalien in the face every single day and he poured out his heart on Facebook in a riveting post.

According to his profile, Stalien works in Riviera Beach, a city that despite its exotic-sounding name, is known for its significant rate of black on black crime.

The post contains piercing words from Stalien and should be read in its entirety

This officer addresses many of the issues you brought up on another thread.

When you hate long enough and deep enough you become what you hate. This is a matter more of culture than color.

Hillary’s and liberals’ response is to blame whites.

Black America’s low moral state and tolerance of victimhood and rampant crime is why its in a mess.

This isn’t something white people can or should fix.

If blacks are indifferent to blacks being killed by fellow blacks, not my problem.

Race relations should be based on honesty and acknowledging black racism is a serious problem that needs to be addressed.

We won’t get it and blacks will continue to remain trapped in a hell of their own making.

Blacks hate each other and they hate whites.

What they need no amount of money in the world will ever be enough to make them whole.

Healing and repentance come from the inside.

Black America is nowhere near ready to do what needs to be done.

Perhaps this man will run for office some day.

Perhaps the Republican Party will be smart enough to reach out to this man, to invest in our future by discovering if he would like to really help... by representing us.

Hey, I can dream, can't I?

live close to this area, and originally from large NE city where I grew up in racially mixed neighborhood.

When you drive through it, it reminds you of “ radar on” you have from always watching what is going on around you.

There are neighborhoods in this country no one would drive through - unless they have a death wish.

People don’t drive through the hood if they can avoid it.

And its getting worse because the President,Hilary Clinton, the entire Democratic Party, and many others who profit from fanning the flames of racial hatred (take your pick: Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Michael Moore, etc.), are aiding and abetting hatred towards white people in general and white police officers specifically. Instead of these race mongers being shunned by the country’s leaders they are in every instance given political support for their allegations before an investigation can even begin. The riots and violence are excused as “justifiable outrage”.

In the 1960s, that’s exactly how liberals excused our burning cities.

Because Whitey wasn’t repentant enough.

The country needs better policing and African Americans need to stop committing mass crime, and quit demonizing cops. The Minnesota man shouldn’t have died because of the broken taillight. He should have just gotten a ticket.

If the policeman executed the man due to a broken taillight, why isn’t the policeman in jail charged with murder?

We don’t know. He probably should be in jail, and let the justice system run it’s course.
