Before I turned off the Sunday morning news, I caught a whiff of the loathsome “The Talk” whine.
It is always mentioned in a quiet, tragic way.
Well, for one, “The Talk” should include a little caution, such as, “Don’t physically confront a policemen, don’t resist an arrest by force, and expect to die if you resist with a gun in your hand.
I was stopped once on the outskirts of a small town for speeding. I merely asked the cop how he felt justified in writing me up when there were no speed limit signs posted. He turned purple in the face, his hands started trembling in rage.
I shut up. I did not realize that I was supposed to get in his face and tussle with him, based on the current understanding by black males.
I have tried to explain the Loss of Public Support syndrome to a few cops over the years, only two actually got it.
“Well, for one, The Talk should include a little caution, such as, Dont physically confront a policemen, dont resist an arrest by force, and expect to die if you resist with a gun in your hand.”
Ever notice that all the talk about how the cops need to be trained in de-escalation and understanding the community, never includes the need for training the ghetto dwellers not to commit crimes, control their behavior and not escalate the situation in the first place? We also never hear the media discuss stopping the race baiters from convincing blacks that its racism everytime you get stopped for traffic offenses or otherwise breaking the law? Its the freaking media, the race agitators, and Ob@stard that work these people into a frenzy in the first place.
