I do this on a regular basis..whenever I see a law enforcement professional or a veteran I thank them for their service, buy their Gas if they are at the pump, annonymously oick up their lunch tab etc. Locally I’ll stop by my fire department or police department anonymously and drop off a bag of ground coffee or some nice pastries or even just a box of donuts... just something to let them know I’m thinking of them and I appreciate all that they do for me and my small town.

All,

Handshakes, kind words of encouragement, cards we can display are great morale boosters. Food to the station, not the best idea, appreciated but most likely will be trashed if the officers do not know you personally. You just cannot trust where it comes from so please don’t spend money on food.

Some of the best conversations and ice breakers I have had was when a random stranger just walked up and said, “I just wanted to thank you for what you do.”
