SEOUL—North Korea appeared to have unsuccessfully fired a missile from a submarine Saturday, just a day after Washington and Seoul agreed to deploy an advanced missile-defense system in South Korea to counter Pyongyang’s threats.

South Korea’s defense ministry said North Korea test-fired what it views as a submarine-launched ballistic missileoff the eastern coastal city of Sinpo about 11:30 a.m. local time Saturday.

“After its ejection from underwater, the projectile appeared to have failed in its early stage of flight,” said a ministry spokesman in Seoul who declined to give further details, including the distance of the flight.

The South’s military was analyzing the nature of the North’s latest missile test, but it “strongly condemns the missile test as an outright violation of the United Nations Security Council resolutions” that ban Pyongyang from engaging in ballistic-missile activities, he said.

Made In Japan?
Little Kim needs to start palling around with MIT people.
Good for us, he’s too proud to admit it yet.
Once he admits the need for help, kidnappings of South Koreans may be his next step.

I would think a North Korean submarine carrying a ballistic missile would be a problem that could be made to disappear pretty easily.

For US$150 billion, Iran sure is plowing through their research agenda.

The Norks love spending Iranian money on research.

If Hillary gets into office, she will sell them all the technology they need to get that bird in the air for a “contribution” to the Clinton Crime Foundation.
